XOAXO is an office by Sandy Yum. She graduated with a B. Arch from Cornell University in 2005 and a M. Arch from Harvard University in 2008. She is a frequent collaborator with the local design platform Project Room. Prior to XOAXO she had worked for the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in New York. Her previous work experiences include the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Masterplan of the Bogotá Centro Administrativo Nacional (CAN), as well as the future FAB Civic Center Park in Downtown Los Angeles. Additionally, Sandy teaches at the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California and enjoys a practice that focuses on rethinking the relationships people have with the built environment by telling their stories through architecture.
