An old storybook house in the Hollywood Hills gets a mini library to house its stories

The musician client wanted a room reminiscent of the old world and asked for a sense of craftmanship.

The hexagonal plan made for a challenge as the home had shifted with age, making every wall a slightly different angle and length. Sitting atop the room was a tourette hidden above.
Each dowel holding up each shelf was hand carved on a laithe.
